Casey Pope Properties takes first place in the Houston Polo Ladies Tournament.

When Allee Messina, realtor at Casey Pope Properties approached the owners, Nicole Pope and Pat Casey, to sponsor her polo team in the Houston Polo Ladies Tournament, the answer was an exuberant YES. "Since our main office is located in the heart of Fulshear surrounded by exquisite polo fields, I thought this was a great idea", said Nicole.  " We feel it is important to support our agents and the community, and winning the tournament was just icing on the cake". Great job Allee!

Over 250 people who were surprised that the Fulshear Friday Night event had been cancelled were not disappointed, as Casey Pope Properties hosted a gala celebration in downtown Fulshear.

Pat Casey and Nicole Pope wanted to do something special for the community this year so they really did it, and they did it in a big Texas Style.   There was a full size, colorful Merry-Go-Round, filled with brightly, painted ponies, a giraffe, monkey and even an elephant to ride. There was an Orbitron ride for the big kids who liked to get flipped up side down and inside out! Delicious, piping hot chocolate made by Essence House Café was served in the gazebo.  There was even a long-horn, “rein-steer” dressed in festive colors, that children and adults got to sit on to get their photo taken.

HUGE SUCCESS!

I am absolutely overwhelmed with the large turn out we had supporting our event to help raise money for Child Advocates of Ft Bend, at least 800 people attended according to one official present and all for such a worthy cause! The donations we received for our silent auction and raffle was amazing, the support rolled in from Fulshear, Houston, and Katy, Richmond/Rosenberg. We decided since we will be doing our cook-off every year that we would pick a charity to benefit from our Community efforts. We were trying to include people not just from our wonderful Fulshear area, but reached out to other areas outside. Many that attended had never been to Fulshear, they said that they will return to visit, which means more business for our local stores! Tilman and Paige Fertitta are now familiar with Fulshear area after our event, and were generous enough to donate a free weekend stay in Kemah with rides included. I will be listing  those who were generous and kind enough to donate items, baked goods, their time, etc. I must see to it they are all recognized for their generosity and true spirit! We are already getting calls to participate in this great Fulshear Event next year!
